The 2014 Indiana State Fair opens Friday and will run through Aug. 17. The fair features 17 days of family fun and entertainment.â€¨ General admission at fair gates is $10, with children 5 and under admitted free. A parking pass is $5, and midway wristbands will be sold for $30.
Discount tickets are available at Indiana Walmart and CVS pharmacy stores and are also available online at www.in.gov/statefair.
Gates to the fairground open daily at 8 a.m. Admission tickets will no longer be accepted/sold after 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursday and 9:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
General fair hours are Sunday through Thursday, 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. - midnight; and Saturday, 8 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Exhibit and building hours are from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Exposition hall hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
