FORT WAYNE—The Squaws finished up their six-match road trip at Northrop on Wednesday night sending the Bruins reeling with a three-set sweep, 25-9, 25-10, 25-12.
Bellmont thoroughly dominated the match from the start improving their record to 8-3 on the season before heading home tonight for a match against another big Fort Wayne school, Snider.
Bailee Hankenson ended the match with 20 assists with four kills and four digs along with two aces. Janaya Wilder led the offensive attack with seven kills as well as four service aces and five digs.
Holly Hankenson aided the "O" with six kills with four digs and a block assist, while Madalyn Mann and Liv Fuelling each contributed four kills to the cause. Madison Glancy had two kills and a solo block, while Taylor Rhymer had a kill with two assists and Jessah Okoniewski had three service aces and three digs. Rachel Salerno had five digs and two aces.
The JV and frosh won their matches completing the sweep on the night as the reserves earned a 25-10, 25-8 beat down, while the C-team downed Northrop 25-11, 25-23.
Amanda Hunter had five kills with nine assists and a dig, while Taylor Bebout finished with seven assists, four aces, and three kills. Courtney Loshe had two aces with three kills, Skylynn Celange had two kills, Madison Macklin had two aces, and Saige Jauregui had five kills for the reserves.
The match against Snider begins with the JV at 6 p.m. and can be seen on the DDD webcasting channel.
