Squadron of Sound marches to state

    The Adams Central High School marching band, which performs under the name “The Squadron of Sound,” will compete in the Indiana State School Music Association Marching Band Finals at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Saturday after placing in the top 10 at the Class D semi-state at Franklin Community High School this past weekend.
    The Adams Central band is one of 14 marching bands throughout Indiana to advance to semi-state. Twenty bands competed at each of four semi-state sites on Saturday.
    Other regional bands earning trips to the state competition included Homestead, Carroll, DeKalb, Norwell and Concordia.
