Squadron of Sound gets board salute

    The Adams Central band, better known as the Squadron of Sound, was recognized for its accomplishments Tuesday evening during the regular meeting of the AC board of education.
    Superintendent Dr. Lori Richmond commended the band on its outstanding finish to the 2013 marching season, during which the group went undefeated in regular competition for the second consecutive year. Richmond also commented on the excitement she felt watching the band perform at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis during the state competition, where the band placed fifth in their division.
