Sophia K. Hoover

    Sophia K. Hoover, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday at her residence.
    She was born on November 30, 1920, in Fort Wayne to Stanley and Victoria Kotyla Kelak.
    She married John William Hoover; he is deceased.
    She was a clerk for 19 years at the L.S. Ayres store in Fort Wayne.
    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Sylvia) Scheumann of Decatur and Laura Sink of Fort Wayne; one son, Dr. Stanley Hoover, a physician, (and wife Sara) of Chicago; seven grandchildren, Margo Hoover Regan, Lisa Murray, Jason and Joshua Scheumann, Holly Reay, and Joseph and Justin Dreyer; and 13 great-grandchildren.
    A daughter, Kathleen Dreyer, is deceased.
    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Klaehn, Fahl, and Melton Funeral Home on Winchester Rd. in Fort Wayne, with Pastor Greg Smith officiating.
    Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park at Fort Wayne.
    Visiting hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday.
    Preferred memorials are to James Whitcomb Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.
