Solomon N. Wengerd

    Solomon N. Wengerd, 75, of rural Berne, died on Sunday at home.
    He was born in Geneva on August 31, 1935 to Noah and Christina Wickey Wengerd.
    Among survivors are his wife, Salome; six sons: Amos, Noah, and Solomon Wengerd of rural Monroe; Benjamin Wengerd of rural Willshire, Ohio; Daniel Wengerd of rural Decatur; and Letoy Wengerd of rural Berne; and six daughters: Mrs. William (Christine) Schwartz of rural New Concord, Ohio; Mrs. Thomas (Elizabeth) Schwartz of rural Bonaparte, Iowa; Mrs. Benjamin (Salome) Schwartz and Mrs. William (Mary) Schwartz of rural Geneva; Mrs. Leander (Rosina) Schwartz of rural Rochester, Indiana; and Mrs. Levi (Emily) Schwartz of rural Berne.
    Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the Solomon N. Wengerd home, 1848 E. County Rd. 700 South, with burial in Bunker Hill Cemetery, rural Geneva.
    Visiting hours are from 2-8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Tuesday in the Solomon N. Wengerd home.
    Funeral arrangements were by Downing and Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva.
