Siera Bracamonte, 63, passed away on June 12, 2011.
Siera was born on January 2, 1948, in Indiana. She was one of four children born to the late Robert and Rosemary Bennett and was the beloved wife of Alfonso Bracamonte for more than 34 years.
Siera was the proud mother of Nicholas Bracamonte (and wife Alegra), devoted stepmother to Yolanda Bracamonte and Lenny Bracamonte (and wife Jamelle), and grandmother of Liselle, Aidan, Mikael, and Roman.
Siera will forever be remembered by her brothers, Michael Bennett of Texas and Dr. Steve Bennett of Decatur, and her loving sister, Michelle Locke of Michigan, and will be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews.
Siera dedicated many years as a teacher in the Nogales Unified School District in Arizona. She retired from Nogales and pursued a different path in the educational field. Siera became a reading specialist and finished her educational career as the principal of Mt. View Elementary School.
Siera touched the lives of many children and adults with her beautiful smile, generosity, and sense of humor.
A memorial service was held on June 22, 2011, at Our Lady of the Valley in Green Valley, Arizona.
