Five Bellmont High School seniors kept a tradition alive by walking down U.S. 224 from Decatur to Norwell High School Tuesday in show of support to the BHS basketball team, which opened sectional tournament play. The trek reportedly took four hours and 15 minutes. Driving the escort truck was Jimmy Sheets, while walkers included Tyler Fenwick, Ross Smith, Jordan Corral, Alex Diaz and Connor Martz. The Braves’ tourney trail ended with a 52-27 loss to Columbia City.
