Sherri L. Longenberger

    Sherri L. Longenberger, 49, of Bluffton, passed away at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at her residence.
    Sherri was born in Adams County on October 11, 1963, to Doyle W. and the late Bonnie L. (Baumgartner) Frauhiger.
    She married Mark A. Longenberger in Bluffton on June 7, 1981; he survives.
    Sherri graduated from Norwell High School in 1982. She was a partner in Wells County Land Title Company in Bluffton for 17 years. She attended Abundant Life Christian Center in Bluffton. She fought a courageous nine-year battle with cancer.
    Among survivors are two daughters, Tara (Nick Langel) Longenberger and Danielle (Shawn King) Gehring, both of Bluffton; three sisters, Joan (Keith) Gudeman, Lavonia, Mich.; Jill (Greg) Thornton, and Julie (Dean) Tonner, both of Bluffton; brother, Grant (Maura) Frauhiger of Bluffton; several nieces and nephews; parents-in-law, William and Betty Longenberger of Bluffton; grandfather, Ted Kaehr of Bluffton; and granddaughter Addison Gehring of Bluffton.
    Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and 1-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Apostolic Christian Church East.
    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, also at the church, with Rev. John Reinhard and Rev. Mark Gerber officiating.
    Burial will follow in Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Vera Cruz, Ind.
    Preferred memorials are to Family LifeCare in Berne.
