Services set for woman found in damaged home

Funeral services will be held Saturday at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home for Lois J. Bleeke, 75, a Decatur resident who died Saturday, August 3, shortly after being found in her home which had been heavily damaged by a fire on April 22. The fire heavily damaged the home at 6158 Piqua Road, near the E. Monroe St. intersection. Mrs. Bleeke reportedly had been residing at a local motel while repairs were being made to the home, and was in the building on August 3 when relatives came to pick her up. According to reports, they found her in a pool of water in the basement and had her rushed to the hospital, where she later died. Further details in today's print and e-editions.
