Sandy K. Larrabee

    Sandy K. Larrabee, 59, Decatur, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at her residence.
    She was born Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1954, in Decatur, the daughter of the late Donald and Faye (Tumbleson) Aeschliman. She married Steven "Dan" Larrabee Sept. 16, 1978, in Zion United Church of Christ; he survives.
    Sandy was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ where she served as a deacon. 
    She retired from Silberline in Decatur in Sept. of 2013, with 35 years of service. 
    Surviving are five daughters, Dr. Kelli (Brandon) Larrabee-Dewell of Fishers, Stephanie (Adam) Larrabee-Bontreger of Zionsville, Erin Larrabee of Zionsville, Samantha (Aaron "Barny") Larrabee-Barnhart of Fort Wayne and Katherine Larrabee of Decatur; a son, Gregory Larrabee of Decatur; four grandchildren, Emerson Dewell, Kiptyn Bontreger, Finley Dewell and Breckyn Bontreger; and two grandchildren expected in February and June. 
    Preceding Sandy in death was a grandson, Bentley Bontreger on Nov. 4, 2010; a brother, Donald Aeschliman; and her grandmother, Hazel Aeschliman. 
    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Zion United Church of Christ with Rev. Randy Rossman officiating. 
    Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. Sunday also at the Church.
    Preferred memorials are to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
