Sandra J. Gaskill

    Sandra Joan Schuller Gaskill, 75, of Celina, Ohio, passed away at 6:50 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
    She was born on Thursday, October 29, 1936, in Montpelier, Indiana, to William Simon and Elizabeth Minniear Schuller.
    Mrs. Gaskill was formerly employed by Magnavox Corp, in Fort Wayne.
    She was a 1954 graduate of Montpelier High School and a former resident of Montpelier and Decatur.
    She attended Landfair United Methodist Church on State Road 118 in Celina.
    She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, and square dancing.
    Sandra married Richard Leroy "Dick" Gaskill on July 9, 1966 in Hartford City, Indiana.
    Survivors include her husband, Richard Leroy "Dick" Gaskill; three sons, Gregory Alan Gaskill (and wife Louise) of Decatur, Jeffrey William Gaskill of Decatur, and Richard Leroy Gaskill Jr. of Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Jaime Gaskill of Indianapolis, Scott Gaskill of Decatur, Stacey Gaskill of Decatur, and Derek Gaskill of Van Wert, Ohio; her stepmother, Josie Schuller of Montpelier; her half-sister, Billie Schuller of Montpelier; her half-brother, Tim Schuller of Montpelier; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, William Simon and Elizabeth (Minniear) Schuller; two sons, Mark Kevin Gaskill and Scott Dean Gaskill; and two sisters, Patricia Russell and Donzella Walton.
    Arrangements are being handled by Downing and Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva, where family and friends may gather to share and remember from 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, December  3, 2011.
    A service to celebrate her life will be at Downing and Glancy Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December  4, 2011, with Pastor Paul Brown officiating.
    Burial will be at Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
    Memorials may be made to Landfair United Methodist Church, 8256 State Road 118 in Celina, Ohio.
