SAdams principal: ‘Lot of positives’ about Crossing

   Superintendent Scott Litwiller gave an update to the South Adams School Board on Crossing Alternative School, which is entering its second year of operation, at Tuesday's meeting.
    Litwiller reported that he visited the Crossing on August 16 and spoke with campus leader Tim Reyes. Reyes told Litwiller that they had begun classes on August 1, and things were going well.
    High school Principal Trent Lehman commended the school, saying there were "a lot of positives" about the Crossing. Lehman said that even if having students in an alternative setting hurts the school's overall grade from the state, he believes it to be a small sacrifice compared to helping these students.
