SA sports passes to go on sale

July 27, 2011

The South Adams Athletic Department has announced athletic ticket prices for the 2011-2012 school year. Athletic Sports Passes will go on sale beginning Monday, August 8, during registration hours, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 9, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.  Following registration, passes will be on sale in the athletic office daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Again this year the Athletic Department will offer parents the option of working at athletic events for their all-sports tickets.  If parents choose to work for their tickets, they must work 12 events to earn a family pass, 6 events for an adult pass, 3 events for a student pass or 2 events for a senior citizen pass (62 and older).
Events fill up quickly and are assigned on a first come basis.
“This program has been very successful and is a great way to ease the financial burden on the parents while helping the athletic department," stated SA Athletic Director Mike Pries.
"It takes a large number of workers to host an athletic contest and we count on this program to fulfill our needs.”
Worker signup will begin on Wednesday, August 3, for those who worked events for the 2010-11 seasons and on Thursday, August 4, for the general public. Patrons may sign up to work in the athletic office from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
