SA board okays migrant program trailer purchase

    At a South Adams School Board special meeting this week, Susie Amstutz and Superintendent Scott Litwiller presented a request to the board regarding a sort of "facility upgrade" for the Migrant Education Learning Center.
    Federal grants filtered through the Indiana Department of Education provide funding for learning opportunities and activities for migrant students outside of the regular school day. South Adams has provided materials for this in Geneva for students whose parents come to work at the Red Gold plant to harvest tomatoes.
