Ruth M. Bolinger, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Ruth was born in Decatur Feb. 9, 1923, to the late Harmon M. and Leona (Harting) Gillig. On Aug. 17, 1946, she married Arthur T. Bolinger.
Ruth was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Fort Wayne. She was a homemaker.
Surviving is her husband, Arthur “Ted” Bolinger, of Fort Wayne; three sons, Tom (Cindy) Bolinger and Dave (Deb) Bolinger, both of Fort Wayne, and Jim (Teri) Bolinger of Curacao; two brothers, Bob (Susan) Gillig of Wisconsin and Dr. Bill (Jan) Gillig of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth was preceded in death by a brother Dick Gillig and a sister Helen.
A Rosary service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, followed by visitation from 4-7 p.m. Friends may also call from 10-11 a.m. Friday at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
