Ruby V. (Rambo) Blazer

    Ruby V. (Rambo) Blazer, 94 of Decatur, went to be with her Saviour on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
    She was born in Convoy, Ohio, on October 10, 1918, to the late George E. and Charlotte M. (Kreischer) Ladd.
    Ruby first married Glenn Rambo in July 1934; he died on January 21, 1967. She then married Fred Blazer on January 6, 1968; he died on October 11, 2011.
    She owned and operated Ruby’s Style Center Beauty Shop and also worked as a homemaker. She attended Faith Alive Church and was a former member of the First Baptist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose of which she was past Senior Regent.    Among survivors are three sons, Richard L. (Sally) Rambo of Decatur, Phillip D. (Eva Mae) Rambo of Bloomington, and Jerry L. (Linda) Rambo of Decatur; a daughter, Janet S. (Thomas) Lough of Craigville;18 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by two sons, Doug and Tom; two sisters, Naomi LeFever and Mabel Eyanson; and three brothers, Melverd, Rolland and Earl Ladd.
    Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
    Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 15, with calling one hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Rex Grant and Pastor Jerry Pittsford.
    Burial will take place in Decatur Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to the ACCF Angel Cancer Fund, Faith Alive, or Adams Co. Diabetes.
