Roy H. Bleeke, 85, of Fort Wayne, died at 5:52 p.m. Tuesday in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
He was born on November 17, 1925, in Decatur to Fred and Lydia Ehlerding Bleeke.
He married Pauline L. Hannie; she preceded him in death on March 23, 2002.
Roy was the self-employed owner of Bleeke Oil Co., which conducted dust-control measures for gravel roads for more than 30 years.
He attended Immanuel Lutheran School (now St. Peter-Immanuel Lutheran School) through the eighth grade, then attended Decatur High School and graduated in 1943. He was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne.
Roy was also a member of Town and Country Registry, an organization for owners of classic cars. He spent much time collecting Chrysler Town and Country vehicles and was an active member of the organization.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Claudia) Colvin of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and Mrs. Gerould (Jewell) Kern of Long Grove, Illinois; one sister, Esther Martin of New London, Wisconsin; five grandchildren,: Matthew Colvin, Grant Colvin, Jara Kern, Justin Kern, and Garrett Kern; and seven great-grandchildren.
One sister, Marie Bleeke, and one brother, Harry Bleeke, are deceased.
A Collection of Memories Luncheon will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, with interment afterward in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Decatur.
Visiting hours are 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home.
Preferred memorials are to Lutheran Life Villages in Fort Wayne.
