Rosalie Ann Young

    Rosalie Ann Young, 82, of Willshire, Ohio, passed away at 12:04 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Parkview Regional Hospital.
    She was born in Willshire on December 5, 1929, to the late Walter G. and Daisy P. (August) Stetler.
    Rosalie married James O. Young in Witchita Falls, Texas, on January 29, 1951; he passed away on December 25, 1975.
    She was a homemaker and had worked at Huffy for 14 years before retiring in 1991; she had also worked at Decatur Industries. Rosalie attended Praise Point Church, and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 207, both in Willshire.
    Among survivors are three daughters, Vendetta (Craig) Gutshall of Huntington; Colletta Woodall of Willshire; and Donetta R. Brite of Decatur; sons, James O. (Robin) Young Jr. of Van Wert, Ohio, and Calvin R. (Barb) Young of Rockford, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Amanda, Caleb, and Cole Gutshall, Ryan and Clay Woodall, Jennifer Solomon, Kristine McCormick, Megan Brite, Shanna English, and Blake, C.J., and Shane Young; six great-grandchildren, McCade Harner, Haylee and Alayna Woodall, Ruby English, and Jonah and Lucas Young.
    She was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Cora McCormick; two sons-in-law, Alan Brite and James W. "Woody" Woodall; three brothers, Walter Eugene Stetler, who was killed in action during World War II in Italy, Charles "Chub" Stetler, and Jack L. Stetler; five sisters, Mary Lou Suman, Imogene Stetler, Maxine Huffman, Okaleah Fuelling, and Anita Sovine.
    Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 22, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Ed Lovelace officiating.
    Preferred memorials are to the Willshire American Legion Auxiliary or March of Dimes, in memory of Cora McCormick.
