Rorick Electric downed Eichhorn's Jewelry 12-0 in action recently in the Decatur Girls Junior Softball League tournament.
The Rorick's win eliminated Eichhorn's from the tourney.
Jessika Schaeden went the distance for Rorick's for the win and fanned 10 batters. She allowed only one hit, a single by Kendra Glancy, while the Electricians belted out seven hits. Jenna Busick doubled in a two-hit game, Marissa Tupa added a pair of singles, and Sierra Arriaga doubled.
Lindsey Manley and Abbie Lepper pitched for Eichhorn's with Manley striking out seven.
The Junior League tourney resumes tonight with the finals of the loser's bracket at 6 p.m. at Hanna-Nuttman Park featuring German Mutual Insurance and Rorick Electric. The winner of that game will face West End in the title contest Thursday at 6 p.m. If a second game is needed in the double-elimination tournament, it will be played after the first game Thursday night.
