Ronnie L. Gephart

    Ronnie L. Gephart, 75, Decatur, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Chalet Village in Berne.
    Ronnie was born Friday, August 27, 1937, in rural Wren, Ohio, to the late Basil and Lolo (Drake) Gephart.
    He married Ramona K. Gattshall on June 30, 1957, in Chattanooga, Ohio; she survives in Decatur.
    Ronnie was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Decatur. He was a farmer and had worked at Phelps Dodge Magnet Wire Company for 46 years, retiring in 2002.
    Among survivors are three daughters, Roxanne S. Free of Swanton, Ohio; Rochelle L. (Ray) Burger of Ohio City, Ohio; Ronnette K. Gephart of Fort Wayne; two sons, Ron D. (Carolyn) Gephart and Rodney L. (Wendi) Gephart, both of Decatur; three sisters, Eileen Jones of East Moriches, N.Y.; Audrey Manley of Decatur; Bonnie (John) Koolman of Chesapeake, Va.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
    Ronnie was preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Gaunt and Ruth Walters, and four brothers-in-law, Art Gifford, Miles Jones, Leroy Walters, and Lester Manley.
    Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 8, at the funeral home, with Pastor Ed Gebert officiating.
    Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to St. Mark's United Methodist Church or the Adams County Community Foundation-Cancer Fund.
