Robert A. "Bob" Flowers, 51, of Bluffton, passed away at 6:42 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on February 21, 1961, to Roger L. and Karen J. (Markley) Flowers.
On September 29, 1979, he married Judith A. (Boots) Flowers in Markle; she survives in Bluffton.
Bob was a 1979 graduate of Bluffton High School and was the owner/operator of Kousins Kustom Kars since 1989. He was a member of St. Luke Church and Markle Church of Christ.
He loved spending time with family and grandchildren. He was an avid snowmobiler for 30 years, Harley-Davidson rider, and Mopar collector. He also loved spending time in Michigan and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Among survivors are his parents; son, Chris L. Flowers of Bluffton; daughter, Jamie S. (Andrew) Tigner of Bluffton; sister, Dianna R. Huffman of Poneto; brother-in-law, David (Sarilyn) Boots of Bluffton; sister-in-law, Joni (Joe) Tape of Maryland; mother- and fatherin-law, Beverly and Claron Boots; grandchildren, Haylie and Hunter Tigner, and Elijah Flowers; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Friday, August 17, at Goodwin Memorial Chapel, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, at St. Luke Church, Decatur, with Pastor Mike Wertenberger officiating.
Burial will be in Six Mile Cemetery.
