    Rick D. Voreis, 49, of Decatur, died on Sunday, October 17, 2010, in Adams Memorial Hospital.
    Rick was born Adams County on June 9, 1961 to Richard D. Voreis and Connie S. (Henderson) Gluth.
    He married Tamela DeBolt-Sharpe on July 1, 2006.
    Rick was a lifelong resident of Adams County and worked for P & B Trucking in Decatur as a truck driver.
    Surviving are his father, Richard (Patty) Voreis of Arcadia, Florida; his mother, Connie Gluth of Decatur; his wife, Tamela S. Voreis of Decatur; a son, Tyler E. Gilbert of Monroe; a daughter, Amber Gifford of Cleveland, Ohio; two stepsons, Jeremy (Hannah) Sharpe of Bourbonnais, Illinoi,s and David (Sarah) Sharpe of Decatur; a stepdaughter, Elisabeth Callow of Decatur; a brother, Todd (Janice) Voreis of Omaha, Nebraska; two sister, Pamela (Robert) Knous and Kim Jonas, both of Decatur; and two grandchildren, Jacobb and Alexis Callow.
    He was preceded in death by his best friend, his dog Basil.
    Calling will be from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur.
    The funeral service will be on Friday, October 22, 2010, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home, with Curtis Rayford officiating.
