February 19, 2013

According to information released today, Tye L. Elder, 22, Interlaken Drive, Berne, was arrested by the Berne Police Department last Thursday on three methamphetamine-related charges:
Possession of meth, the manufacture of meth, and maintaining a common nuisance.
Elder is being held without bond at the county jail.

Meanwhile, a 17-year-old Redkey girl was arrested by the sheriff's department and charged with resisting law enforcement with force or a deadly weapon, burglary, and auto theft. Her bond is set at $50,000 surety.
The charges are in reference to an incident that started in southern Adams County several weeks ago when the juvenile allegedly stole a vehicle and was pursued by police into Allen County where she eventually crashed the vehicle near Hoagland.
Also, information released today said Robert J. Flynn, 35, Nuttman Avenue, Decatur, was arrested by the sheriff's department on a warrant issued by the state of North Dakota for theft of over $100,000.
He remained in custody here this morning pending a transfer to the custody of authorities in North Dakota.
