Red Cross official says local family needs help

August 7, 2013

Vickie Ellis, program specialist with the Adams County chapter of the American Red Cross, is asking the community to assist a family in need.
Ellis said a local family — a mother and three young children, ages 5, 3 and 5 months — due to circumstances beyond their control "find themselves needing to start a household after losing everything." Beds for the older two children and the mother are especially needed, said Ellis.
Contact the American Red Cross office at 724-9106 or 692-2225 for additional details on how to help.
