‘Real’ Koufax draw given

    The tourney draw for the Adams-Wells Koufax League published in Friday's Daily Democrat was apparently in error.
    The correct draw was issued today by league officials. The tourney will begin today with two games at Worthman Field and two games at Don Ray Memorial Park in Monroe. There will be games tonight, Wednesday and Thursday, and games next week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
    The slate, by day, is as follows:
    TODAY—At Worthman Field, Decatur, Indiana. N. Wells vs. Ossian St. Bank, 5:30; Corner Deli vs. Stoller Seed, 7:45; At Don Ray Field, Monroe. Bluffton Elks vs. Harvest Land, 5:30; Monroe HME Crushers vs. Bluffton Parks, 7:45.
    WEDNESDAY—At Worthman Field, Decatur. Erie Haven vs. winner Elks-H. Landers, 5:30; McIntire Heating & Air vs. winner of Crushers-Parks, 7:45; At Don Ray Field, Courtesy Motors vs. winner of N. Wells-OSB game, 5:30; S. Adams vs. winner of Deli-Stoller game, 7:45.
    THURSDAY—Winners' bracket Semi-finals at Decatur, 5:30 and 7:30; losers bracket games at Don Ray Field, 5:30 and 7:45.
    MONDAY (JULY 11)—Winners' bracket finals at Worthman Field, Decatur, 6:00; Losers' bracket games at Don Ray Field, Monroe, 5:30 and 7:45.
    TUESDAY (JULY 12)—Losers' bracket finals, 6:00, Worthman Field, Decatur.
    THURSDAY (JULY 14)—First Championship game, 6:00; Second game, if needed, will follow.
    There are no time limits on games. The second game slated on a field will take place 30 minutes after the final out is recorded.
