Railroad work continues

What tracks?

     A mini-valley of dirt and concrete was created on Wednesday across five-lane 13th St. between Adams and Patterson Sts. by workers who will reconstruct the crossing to make it smoother.
    Repair work has been done several times in recent years, but proved unsuccessful. The accompanying photo, looking east, was taken at midafternoon Wednesday.
    It is hoped that the work can be completed by Friday.
    City police have made numerous arrests of semi drivers for being off the posted detour route.
