Pollyanna M. Neuenschwander

    Pollyanna M. Neuenschwander, 96, of Berne, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012, at Swiss Village.
    She was born in Adams County on August 21, 1916, to the late Peter B. and Elizabeth (Welty) Lehman.
    On November 11, 1939, she married Orval Neuenschwander; he passed away in June 2007.
    Pollyanna was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Women in Missions at the church, and taught Sunday School and Bible School for many years. She was also active in Adams County 4-H Club, P.TA, and was a Cub Scout den mother. She enjoyed traveling and sewing.
    Among survivors are two sons, Olin (Rita) Neuenschwander of Parker, Colo., and Ryan (Debbie) Neuenschwander of Bonaire, Ga.; two daughters, Chloe (Jack) Cooper of Fountain Valley, Calif., and Beth (Gary) Hart of Decatur.; son-in-law, James Nussbaum of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Juanita Arnold of Berne; and brother, Bill (Carolyn) Lehman of Ohio City, Ohio; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by two daughters, Omega Ann and Wanda Nussbaum; brother, Roe Lehman; and two sisters, Barb Reimer and Wavalene Yoder.
    Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, January 4, at Swiss Village, and one hour prior to services on Saturday.
    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, also at Swiss Village, with Rev. Jerry Flueckiger and Chaplain Anita Rediger officiating.
    Burial will be in M.R.E. Cemetery in Berne.
    Preferred memorials are to Swiss Village Samaritan Fund or Family Life Care Hospice.
