Polly A. Alexander

    Polly A. Alexander, 68, Fort Wayne, died Sunday, May 11, 2014, at her residence.
    Polly was born Oct. 11, 1945, in Decatur to the late Hollis D. and Kathryn V. (Hook) Bonifas.
    She married Martin P. “Marty” Alexander III July 24,1965; he preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 2013.
    Polly was an administrative assistant for the DeKalb Central United Schools.
    She is survived by a son, Tyler Alexander of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada; a daughter, Darcy (Chris) Samuelson of Auburn; a brother, Rick (Beth) Bonifas of Decatur; and five grandchildren, Abigail Alexander, Bryce, Leah and Griffin Samuelson and Courtney Loshe.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Rossman officiating.
    Burial will be in Springhill/Backesto Cemetery in Berne.
    Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
