Bellmont High School senior Cory Poling has been named the 2013 Lilly Endowment Community Scholar by the Adams County Community Foundation (ACCF).
Poling will receive full tuition to the Indiana college of his choice and a $900 yearly stipend for required books and equipment.
Poling, son of Heather Eddins and Cory Poling of Decatur and grandson of Judy and Barry Poling, will attend IPFW this fall and plans to major in pre-med.
“I am overwhelmingly thankful for this scholarship. I feel so honored,” said Poling, adding that he may consider other schools now that this opportunity has been made available to him.
