Petitioners want downtown jail site reconsidered

May 6, 2014

Downtown business owners Chris Faurote and Ron Franz again appeared before the Adams County Commissioners Monday to express their displeasure with the planned location of a new jail and superior court project along a section of 1st Street in downtown Decatur.
The two have recently appeared before commissioners in an attempt to convince public officials there is a groundswell of opposition to the proposed site.
