Pauline Selking, 91, of Decatur, passed away at 5 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
Pauline was born on Friday, July 1, 1921, in Edgerton, Ohio, to the late Elmer A. and Julia F. (Zeigler) Edwards.
She married Robert Louis Selking on April 29, 1940, in New Haven; he passed away in 1984.
Pauline was member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble, and was active in the Ladies Aid of the church. Pauline retired in 1980 from General Electric in Fort Wayne with 19 years of service.
Among survivors are her daughter, Kathleen "Kay" (Richard, Sr.) Czykoski of Minneola, Fla.; two sisters, Maybelle Blankenbeckler of Defiance, Ohio, and Carol Berryman of Bryant, Ohio; brother-in-law, George James of Garrett, Ind.; niece, Sandy (Gerald) Lockwood of Waterloo, Ind.; four grandsons, Robert, Richard, Jr., Randy, and John Czykoski; and four great-grandchildren.
Pauline was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Edwards; and four sisters, Bernice James, Donna Doane, Hilda M. Akins, and an infant sister.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, May 12, at Zwick & Jahn, and from 9-10 a.m. Monday, May 13, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, also at the church, with Rev. Dr. Daniel J. Brege officiating.
Burial will follow in Concordia Cemetery Gardens in Fort Wayne.
Preferred memorials are to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble, or ACCF-Cancer Fund.
