Patricia S. Boltz

    Patricia S. Boltz, 84, Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014, at the Parkview Regional Medical Center.
    She was born Saturday, Feb. 15, 1930, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late John W. and Luella (Branning) Sauer. 
    She married Dean E. Boltz Oct. 19, 1950, in the Wayne Street Methodist Church in Fort Wayne; he survives.
  Pat was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne and a former member of the First Wayne Street United Methodist Church. She was a longtime choir member, was involved in the United Methodist Women and also the Emmaus Community, where she was a Lay Director for the Emmaus Walk.  She had received the “Thanks” badge from Girl Scouts USA.
    Pat was a graduate of South Side High School in 1948 and attended West Michigan University in Kalamazoo. She was a homemaker and a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant.
    Also surviving are three daughters, Deborah E. Boltz and Mary J. B. Michalak, both of Huntertown, and Dianne B. McIntosh of New Haven; three grandchildren, Daniel McIntosh, Claire (Bryan) Meraz and Jennifer McIntosh; and one great-grandchild, Brynn Meraz.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethany United Methodist Church, 7715 Sunny Lane, Fort Wayne, with Dr. Jerry Wood officiating.
    Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
    Preferred memorials are to the Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana.
