Patricia A. Rumschlag

    Patricia A. Rumschlag, 67, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at her residence.
    Pat was born in Allen County on November 28, 1944, to Ralph and Doris (Anderson) Gerardot Jr.
    She married James M. Rumschlag on July 13, 1963.
    A member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Pat had worked as a waitress at West End restaurant for 35 years before retiring on August 1, 2011.
    Among survivors are her husband of 49 years, Jim Rumschlag of Decatur; daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Garner and Sara Anderson; sons, Chris Rumschlag and Greg (Billie) Rumschlag; granddaughters, Holly and Heather Garner and Gianna Bodle; grandsons, Skyeler and Camden Rumschlag, and Wyatt Rumschlag; great-grandson, Daxton Haines all of Decatur; her mother, Doris Gerardot; brothers, Steven and Jeff (Becky) Gerardot; and sisters, Laura (and friend Jack McCullough) Beery, Carol (Tom) Brames, Nancy (Matt) Richard, Joan (Mike) Aurand, and Ellen (Jim) Wyss; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Barbara Gerardot.
    Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
    A mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev. Fr. Cornelius Ryan, C.S.C. will be presiding.
    Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Church Improvement Fund or Family Life Care-Hospice.
