Patricia A. Lahr

    Patricia Ann "Pat" Lahr, 68, of Warren, Ind., passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Heritage Pointe in Warren.
    She was born on Wednesday, September 6, 1944, in Marion, to the late Wilford H. Lahr and the late Glendora I. (Wagner) Ross.
    Pat was a member of PSI CHI, National Honor Society of Psychologists, St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Indiana State Employees Association, and AFSCME. She was vice president of ISEA-Richmond State Hospital Chapter and vice president of Richmond State Hospital Employees Credit Union.
    Pat was a graduate of Indiana Central College, now known as the University of Indianapolis, and did her graduate work on her Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology in Provo, Utah. She was a psychology and psychiatric social worker for Richmond State Hospital in Richmond, Indiana, for 25 years, before which she worked for the Madison County Welfare Department. She also taught in Indianapolis schools for a short period of time.
    Among survivors are her brother, Michael (Kandace) Ross of Marion; two nieces, April M. Copas of Gas City, Ind., and Kylie A. (Brad) Bockman of Swayzee, Ind.; two nephews, Michael William (Summer) Ross and J.D. (Debbie Butcher) Ross, both of Marion; three great-nephews, Tyler Copas, Aaron Copas and Cameron Butcher; and two great-nieces, Alexis Ross and Cayla Butcher.
    Patricia was preceded in death by Floyd and Dr. Blanche Krick, whom she considered her adoptive parents.
    Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home.
    Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Darrell Smith officiating.
    Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Grant County Sheriff's Chaplaincy Program, Dr. Blanche Krick Scholarship Fund, or the University of Indianapolis.
