Panel to push court project?

May 7, 2013

The county council joined the county commissioners on Monday for a brief meeting to discuss forming a superior court project committee, which would include members of each body.
Commissioner Doug Bauman announced that all three commissioners had volunteered to be on the committee. He then expressed his belief that with an actual committee dedicated to the project, it will move along much more efficiently.
Council President Randy Colclasure said that the council would decide who would serve on the committee at its next meeting, on Tuesday, May 14.
Bauman then suggested that in order to hold regular meetings, the committee convene at 7:30 a.m. each month before the council meeting, to which the council and commissioners all agreed.
