Olive M. Miller

    A memorial visitation will be held from 1:30-2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Decatur Church of Christ for Olive M. Miller, 90, of Decatur, who passed away at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012, in the Village of Heritage in Monroeville. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church, with Pastor David Rea officiating.
    Olive was born Sunday, May 14, 1922, in Michigan, to the late Wilford A. and Gertrude (Burch) Zurbrugg.
    She married the late Jerome C. "Jerry" Miller on January 12, 1942, in Fort Wayne; he passed away on December 16, 1979.
    Olive was a member of Decatur Church of Christ. She was a homemaker, as well as the owner of the Happy Hours Roller Rink in rural Decatur from 1954 to December 25, 1983.  She also worked at Bellmont High School, selling tickets at Bellmont sporting events.
    Among survivors are her son, Kenneth J. (Ruth Ann) Miller of Decatur; three daughters, Theresa (Gary) Priddy of Winterhaven, Fla., Anita (Terry) Kahn of Kingsland, Ind., and Nina (Harry) Miller of Franklin, Ind.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
    Olive was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jeremy Priddy and Mary Frances Miller, four brothers and a sister.
    Preferred memorials are to Decatur Church of Christ or the Fort Wayne Area Muscular Dystrophy Association.
