Ogg leaving county post

June 4, 2013

Plan Commission Director Neil Ogg announced at Monday's county commissioners meeting that he will retire on September 1.
Ogg was appointed to the position 15 years ago by the commissioners.
Commissioner Kim Fruechte told him, "You'll be a hard person to replace."
County Attorney Mark Burry added that Ogg has the "gift of the velvet hammer," saying that his unique personality gives him excellent people skills along with technical expertise. He said, "I hope we can find someone who comes close."
