Norma A. Bedwell

    Norma A. Bedwell, 87, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Decatur, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
    She was born April 7, 1926, in Decatur to the late Delmer Clyde and Mary Ruth (Worden) McClure. On September 4, 1948, she married Wm. Wade Bedwell; he survives in Sarasota.
    Norma was a homemaker and was an avid bowler.
    Also surviving are three sons, Alan Bedwell of Decatur, Max Bedwell of Sarasota, Fla. and Bruce (Nancy) Bedwell of Bluffton; a sister, Glenda (Chuck) Hosier of Fort. Wayne; five grandchildren, Corey Bedwell of Bluffton, Tracey (Sarah) Bedwell of New Haven, IShaunda Bedwell of Bluffton, Ryan Bedwell of Seattle, Wash., and Kristen Bedwell of Bluffton, along with five great grandchildren, a niece and five nephews.
    She was preceded in death by three brothers; one in infancy, Virgil McClure and Ralph Milo McClure, and a sister in infancy.
    A memorial service will be held at a later date.
    Memorials are to American Cancer Society.
     Arrangements are being handled by Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
