Nora A. Parker

    Nora A. Parker, 76, of Fort Wayne, died at 9:40 a.m. on September 28 at her residence.
    She was born on December 29, 1934, in Decatur.
    She married Robert N. Parker, who survives.
    She was a homemaker and a faithful servant of Jehovah God.
    Other survivors are two daughters, Deborah Miller of Ossian and Mrs. Jerry (Toni K.) Knowles of Alberding, Washington; one son, Michael N. Parker (and wife Diana) of Decatur; one brother, George Jacobs (and wife Linda A.) of Monroe; one sister, Florine Gerber of Decatur; one grandaughter, Mrs. Trent (Tiffany) Alspaugh of Decatur; and two grandsons, Nate Parker (and wife Betsy) and Clint Parker, both of Decatur.
    She was preceded in death by a sister, Barb Sipe.
    A memorial service and a visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011, in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses South Central congregation, 6000 Abbott St. in Fort Wayne. Officiating will be Walt Smith.
    Burial occurred on September 30 in Decatur Cemetery.
    Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
