Work is continuing on the circular site of the fountain being installed in front of Adams Memorial Hospital to honor its retiring executive director, Marvin Baird.
The curved driveway is also being widened to provide easier access to the hospital, which opened six years ago under Baird's stewardship. He retires this summer after 23 years at the helm.
Dedication ceremonies for the fountain will be held at 12:30 p.m. next Tuesday and are open to the public. Light refreshments will be served in the hospital lobby immediately following the dedication.
