Myron C. Brown

    Myron C. Brown, 59, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
    He was born on May 15, 1952, in Fort Wayne, to Charles E. and Ramona E. (Hine) Brown.
    He is survived by his mother, Ramona E. Brown, of Decatur; four brothers, Kevin (Sandy) Brown and Hugh (Taya) Brown, both of Decatur; Kent Brown of Stamping Ground, Ky; and Jerry (Diane) Brown, of Decatur; two sisters, Trudy Brown of Decatur; and Rosemary (Keith) Robertshaw of Van Wert; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Brown, and his brother,  Bruce Brown.
    He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Decatur. He was also a member of the Indiana/Kentucky Carpenters Union 232, from which he retired from in 2008.
    Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, with a reciting of the Holy Rosary at 3:30 p.m.
    A funeral service will held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, at the funeral home with calling one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Father David Voors. 
    Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
    Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s Building on Our Heritage Fund.
