Missing Decatur teens are found in rural Georgia

July 15, 2014

Four Decatur teenagers reported missing since Saturday were apprehended late Monday night in Cook County, Ga. One of the teens is facing unspecified felony charges and all four are currently in custody at the Cook County jail.
According to Leonard Corral Jr., a detective with the Decatur Police Department, Cook County deputies approached a suspicious vehicle in a rest area in that county and found Jeremiah King, 18, of Decatur behind the wheel of a car that had been reported as stolen from Decatur. In the back seat of the vehicle at the time deputies approached were Ashley Carr, 14, and Addie Elzey, 14, both of Decatur. The girls, in addition to 15-year-old Justin Carr, had been reported as runaways from Decatur.
