Mildred R. Steffen

    Mildred R. Steffen, 92, of Decatur, passed away Monday morning at her residence.
    Mildred was born February 11, 1921, in Adams County to the late John and Lydia (Gerber) Steffen.
    She was a member of Apostolic Christian Church and worked at General Electric in Decatur for 40 years.
    Among survivors are her brother, Ralph (Lucinda) Steffen of Bluffton; and two sisters, Violet Steffen and Vergene Reinhard, both of Decatur.
    Mildred was preceded in death by six brothers, Harvey, Wilmer, Walter, Norman, Glennes and Harold Steffen; and a sister, Catherine Reinhard.
    Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, at Apostolic Christian Church East.
    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, also at the church, with ministers Mark Gerber and Ron Kipfer officiating.
    Burial will follow in Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Family Lifecare.
