Mildred L. Bleeke

    Mildred L. Bleeke, 95, of Decatur, passed away at 11:50 a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2012, at her residence.
    She was born on Thursday, July 15, 1917, in Adams County, to the late William and  Sophie (Bieberich) Weber.
    Mildred married Edward G. Bleeke on December 9, 1939; he passed away September 3, 1997.
    She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Decatur, and was a homemaker.
    Among survivors are her son, Kenneth W. (Rosi) Bleeke of Hoagland; grandsons, Gregory (Isabel) Kentel of Mesa, Ariz.; John-David K. (Carrie) Bleeke of Leo.; granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Bleeke of Bluffton; nine great-grandchildren, Zoe, Jasmine, Paola,  Eduardo, and Andrew Kentel; Weston, Sawyer, and Clayton Bleeke; and Courtney Williams.
    She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara J. and Rev. Clifford Kentel; four sisters, Wilma Busche, Martha Becker, Helen Erxleben, Irene Thieme; three brothers, one in infancy, and  Robert Weber, Clarence Weber; and one grandson; Matthew Kentel.
    Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 24, in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, also at the funeral home, with Pastor David Koeneman officiating.
    Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Worship For Shut-Ins; ABLAZE-Indiana District Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
