'Midsummer' for BHS spring play

April 15, 2013

What happens when you take Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and replace some of the characters with people from the Jersey Shore?  You get Ken Ludwig’s "Midsummer/Jersey," the Bellmont High School spring play production, a school announcement said.
The spring play is being directed by Jeannie Smith with set design by Rick Smith. Over 30 Bellmont High School students are involved in the production as actors and/or tech crew.
Performances will be given BHS' Erekson Theatre on Saturday, April 20, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 21, at 2 p.m.  Reserved seat tickets are $7 for adults and $6 for students and seniors citizens. Reserved seats are in the lower sectionsof the theatre.
For further details, see Saturday's print or e-editions.
