Melvin Scott Rynearson

    Melvin Scott Rynearson, 75, of Decatur, passed away October 19, 2012, at his residence.
    He was born April 10, 1937, in Auburn to the late Ronald and Irene (Wallace) Rynearson.
    Melvin worked for Central Soya in Decatur for 28 years before retiring in 1998. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0207 of Willshire, OH, Eagles Lodge of Decatur and the Moose Lodge in Decatur.
    Among survivors are two daughters, Kelley (Michael Cox) Rynearson and Kimberley (Roman) Silva, both of Decatur; five grandchildren, Brandyn Miller, Roman Silva III, Kole Kelly, Makenzie Cox, Ashlye Silva; two sisters, Janet McNutt of Kendallville, and Ann (Jim) Fry of Auburn; and a brother, Steve (Burtie) Rynearson of Corunna.
    He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and Gene Rynearson; a brother-in-law, Donald McNutt; and a sister-in-law, Roes Rynearson.
    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday October 24, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, Ind., with visitation two hours prior to services at the funeral home.
    Burial will be in Corunna Cemetery, Corunna.
    Preferred memorials are to a trust for his grandchildren’s education c/o Central Soya Federal Credit Union.
