Medical Complex renovation plans given to board

July 25, 2013

Tentative plans for the renovation of the newest physicians office building owned by the Adams Health Network (AHN) were revealed to the AHN Board of Trustees Wednesday night at their monthly meeting.
Nick Nelson, director of support services at Adams Memorial Hospital, showed members a large drawing that will greatly alter the appearance of the Adams Medical Complex located adjacent to the hospital and currently home to four physicians.
Nelson told trustees the drawings were developed by the Wittwer Construction Co. of Fort Wayne, the same company that oversaw the construction of the new hospital in 2005. The hospital will now be seeking pricing for the work to form the framework to see what the cost of the renovation will be.
