Maxine N. Gephart

    Maxine N. Gephart, 91, of Lagrange, formerly of Decatur, died January 19, 2013, at Miller Merry Manor in Lagrange.
    Maxine was born in Adams County on September 28, 1921, to the late William M. and Aletha Florence (Roop) Noll.
    On November 30, 1963, she married Glen E. Gephart; he survives in Howe.
    Maxine was a homemaker and a member of the Women of the Moose.
    Survivors include five daughters, Nancy (Larry) Norton of Fort Wayne, Wendy (Jim) Marencik of Bloomington, Elaine (Tom) Rash, Sandy (Tom) Schultz, and Sue (Dave) Reidenbach, all of Decatur; two sons, Bruce (Lauri) Massoth of Fort Wayne, and Clifford (Kip) Massoth of Decatur; two sisters, Betty Goddard of Muskegan, Mich., and Marilyn Price of Decatur; a sister-in-law, Virginia Eaton of Decatur; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
    Maxine was preceded in death by her first husband, Warren K. Massoth, in 1962; seven sisters and five brothers.
    Visitation will be from 1–3 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, at Haggard Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
    Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, also at the funeral home. Rev. Randy Rossman will be officiating.
    Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Moose Lodge 1311.
