Mary L. Ruble

    Mary L. Ruble, 77, of Monroeville, passed away at 4:07 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
    Mary was born in Convoy, Ohio, on Saturday, May 4, 1935, to the late William and Fannie (Sheets) Pancake.
    She married Roxy R. Ruble in Convoy on November 25, 1956; he preceded her in death on April 14, 2009.
    Mary was secretary/treasurer of Roxy Ruble & Sons Truck Sales in Monroeville. She also assisted in the farming operation run by her husband and sons, and was a homemaker.
    Among survivors are her son, Mark (Chris) Ruble of Monroeville; son, Phil Ruble of Monroeville; son, Todd (Lynn) Ruble of Decatur; brother, Bill (Mid) Pancake of Van Wert, Ohio; sister, Lucille Kolbow of New Haven; eight grandchildren, Heather (Daniel) Butcher, Kimberly (Alex) Pawlowski, Daniel Ruble, Abby Ruble, Craig Ruble, Sarah Ruble, Rachel Ruble, and Aaron Ruble; two great-grandchildren, Brayden Butcher and Lexi Butcher, and one more on the way.
    She was preceded in death by five brothers, Kenneth, Harold, Larry, Carl, and Herb Pancake; and one sister, Betty Ruble.
    Visitation will be from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, and one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Friday.
    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 21, at the funeral home, with Rev. Ed Lovelace officiating.
    Burial will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to A.C.C.F. Angel Fund or Honor Flight-Northeast Indiana.
